I figured I would share this picture with y'all. This is my grandfather, my father and me. We are on the ship my dad was on in Vietnam and my dad just finished reenlisting me. It is the only picture of 3 generations of my family in uniform but the family line, and military history, goes back to the revolutionary war. I guess its a family business..lol.

That right there is a special picture not many get to be a part of. :patriot: My dad was on a Tin Can during Korea. I always thought they were big until I grew up and took another look at one. :ack2:

Yup, that there is a family scrapbook pic for the generations if I've ever seen one. You should see my moms Daughters of the Revolution scrapbook grandma maintained...cool stuff.

Way cool Pic. Even better yet the boat you did it on. I walked up and down the deck of the Midway a bunch. The aircraft in the back ground is a E2-C. I worked on E2-B's on the very spot. The only thing I see I believe the props are wrong so they might have put some old square tipped props on the display. The props we had were slightly rounded but not like the round tips on a P-3 which uses the same T-56 engine.

She makes for a fine museum...better than razor blades like my first ship...the Cali. If you ever get the chance to go to Bremerton (sp?) Washington you can see all the battleships there...really cool. When I flew up there to catch the Cali the Midway was still up there.
