Long Slide 45acp.

The very nice people at Glock have made the G24, G34, G35, but they have yet to make a Glock longslide 45acp. It seems like the perfect setup to compete with 1911's.
Why no longslide 45acps?

Glock can certainly produce a longslide model, but I don't think it will compare to this longslide...

man....all my pet peevs are comin' out today. With 45 ACPs, I just gotta have a 5" tube. I had a awsome H&K usp 45, but didn't mind partin' with cuz it didn't have a 5 inch barrel. :confused5: Anyway, I ended up gettin' a XD 45 ACP Tac jobber and have become quite of fan of their 45s...not so much the 40s and 9mms, but I'm sure they're fine too. I ain't too trigger specific, nothin' some time at the range and dry firing can't fix. Plus, if one is a mag ho' like me, they'll like the price on XD 45 mags.

The nice people at Glock just brought out their Glock 30 with a short frame. They call it the G30SF.[this month's American Rifleman]
Nice too.
While that is a welcome addition, I want/wish Glock would make the G21 and the G12SF in a longslide. Like the G34/G35.

If those very nice people at Lone Wolf come out with a long slide, AKA G34/G35 length slide for the G21, it would make my day.
They have great products. I'd buy that slide.....plus the barrel of course...:sifone:

!! News Flash!!

I talked with JR at Lone Wolf this morning and he told me that he expected the first shipment of his large frame longslides and barrels to come in this week, however, with this wildcat trucker strike, he doesn't know if his shipment will be delayed. He is expecting both the 5.5" and 6" large frame slides and barrels. It looks like the longslide 45 and 10mm wait is almost over!!
