Do you lap your scope rings when mounting a new scope ?
Any suggestions on getting the best results ?

Me too. Works great. I also use a paper mounting tape inside the ring. I don't get ring marks that way.

when lapping rings ONLY do the bottom of the rings, not the top part, it usually always takes to much off, I only lap them if needed, then insert those little blue, green, red, reloading tags on the ring, trim and then set scope. seems to have worked for me over the years
