As you guys know i have a Savage 340,in 30-30.Have any of youse tryed it for varments?.I would like to shoot em and want,or would like a light bullet for em.Does anyone have a load,or loads in the lightr slugs?.thanks pan.

those look fun, I might need to try some, specially if i get that 30 carbine barrel for the contender

They make some a little different specifically for the carbine. I think they are more of a round nose with exposed lead, but are made thin for varmint splattering.
