$375 too much? Looks like low mileage, only carried to church, etc.

That seems about right. Things like holster, number of mags, etc. can really make it a GREAT deal.
If it's in good condition and you fancy it...go for it.

Well, looks like I won't be buying it. I saw an ad on a local forum put up by a member for an elderly "friend" who wanted to sell it. I made an offer and the member went back and forth between me and the "friend". Then the member gave me the "friend"'s phone number (after making me swear I wouldn't try to lowball the "friend" at the meet or not show up and inconvenience the "friend"). So I called the old coot and agreed on the price and the meet, even though it meant postponing dinner plans with Mrs. G (think that don't cost? ;))
Two hours later (after I went to the bank for cash) I get an email from the "broker" saying the "friend" had backed out! WTF?
I called the "friend" and asked him about it and got this song and dance about how hard it was for him to sell this fine old gun he's had for so long and his kids want it and on and on and on...
So I asked him why he didn't just call me and back out in person. More song and dance...
I figure he got a better offer and I guess I should be happy I didn't waste time getting stood up at the meet. But DANG!

Sorry you missed out Big G. That would have been a good price though....just saying.

You still have to pay for postponing dinner with Mrs. G. Won't be cheap either, I know these things.

It really makes me mad when someone backs out on a done deal, they NEVER get a chance to get me again. If I give a person my word I stick to it, even if it costs me money.

A big +1. I do most of my business on a handshake.
Yeah, I often have buyers (and sellers) remorse, but if i tell ya I'm gonna do it, consider it done.

Me, too, guys. But even more so since the guy gave me the little "if he agree to your price don't stand him up or try to lowball him at the meet" lecture. Ah, well, it takes all kinds, I guess. I wish 'em all a Merry Christmas!

I've generally found reloaders to be among the best folks to deal with. They always "fill the bag a little fuller" on deals and meet folks more than half way.
I think reloaders have a closer relationship with karma than most folks... ;)
