Work and some surgery has kept me off the site for quite a while.
Do folks know if the pistol primer shortage has started to ease up yet?
I've been backordered on Federal large and small pistol primers for quite a while.

Thanks and its really nice to be back.

I am in Ohio and I have gotten a few hundred here and there, I even got 1,000 SP about a month ago at the Cabela's just north of me. Too bad there is not a pound of Power Pistol to be found anywhere around here. I am down to my last thousand or so 9mm rounds. Then again, it's not like I get out shooting much these days. Not much for LP around here either.

Primer prices seem to be around $35/K here in the midwest, but one of my regular customers was hunting in PA a couple of weeks ago & said that most places that had primers were around $22-$25/K.
Things might be getting back to normal soon.

Me and some friends recently split 20,000 small pistol primers which cost $29/k shipped to the front door.

And a friend, who is visiting family in Minnesota, found 3,000 large rifle primers for me yesterday at $31/k out the door. The store had 15,000 large rifles on the shelf at the time.

Locally I can't find much. Usually it is the hundred count pack for about four bucks. And there is one local store that keeps them on the shelf for $45/k and up. And at that price I hope they stay on the shelf.

Macon, GA area folks: I just got back from Bass Pro and they have as many primers as I've seen there in a long time. Good mix of Winchester and Remington and I think some CCI, pretty much all sizes. The shelves aren't breaking with them, but anybody that needs 300-500 to top off the stash can get them. I think they were running $3.99/100, which ain't cheap but sometimes available is worth something extra.

Plenty of powder and a good selection, too.

I didn't get any this trip; I think I'm fixed up for a while....a K-22 I picked up a while back has got me cheating on the centerfires. :)

Been seeing Sportman's Warehouse restock quite a bit. They had about 20K primers on the shelf the other day for $29-$31/K. CCI, Remington and I think Magtech.

Filling back on on powder too.

Primers are spotty in the upper midwest (MN). Last buy I made was late fall in WI at a small out of the way sporting goods place way up north - SPPs for $29/k.

Generally appear to be recovering across the board.

Having a heck of a time finding H335 though........

My local shop has it at an okay price.

Looks like the primers are loosening up. Anyone see any Federal small and large pistol primers though?
Thanks -

I have a source here that I use. Small local reloading business that caters to local shooters. Runs it out of his trunk. I think they run about $35/K. I've had a stash of L/S Winchesters and want to build up my large Federal stash. I bought 1K a week ago. I'll probably buy 1K per month for the next few months.
