This is what po swamp folk eat y'all. Nastyassed ol smoked hawg butt, dead smoked yard fowl, few vegetables out a da field. Simmered down all day long. Shameful. Down right shameful. :animlol:

Man, we down to red pork, green pork, tamales, catfish, yardbird, tater salad, pintos and cornbread. We countin' on a big summer okra crop. It's tough fo' sho'!

If ya'll be eating like dat, ya'll ain't doing to bad.
Been eating "rock stew" during the week, and roasted roadkill for sunday supper.
Roasted Porkypine or Possom (depending on what ya can find) over a bed of cattail roots makes a fine Sunday dinner
