Varget powder

I was cleaning out a cabinet last night and found 2 sealed 8# kegs of Varget. I can't even remember where or why I bought them. Any thoughts on what cartridges (other than .223) this might be used in?

Works great in .243 Win with 58-64 grain bullets!

Varget is great stuff. I use it for 308, 243, 243 WSSM. Haven't tried it for .223.

Great stuff in .308 and .223. You can make accurate loads without even trying. My ARs love the Varget.

Judging by the amount of moose poop in my yard I don't see a problem in that dept.

Varget is wonderful in the .243 Winchester if bullets are 75-gr down to 58-gr but for "heavier" (above 75-gr) bullets I like H4350.

Varget and a .243 58-gr Hornady V-max with a WLR primer is absolutely devastating on coyotes!

Varget goes mighty nice with some sierra smk's in .308. Works well with heavy bullets in .223 also. You can also load decent 30.06 with it. Good powder it is.

I load 5 different rifle rounds. And use nothing but. Varget and IMR 3031 And can see no reason to change. Varget is very a versatile Rifle powder.
