dang Mullah ... I been lookin at them of late (Mark III that is). Sure like your prices better though. I'm tryin to save for an AR but the temptation is so powerful, everywhere you look so many guns, so little time and money.

I have the greatest rimfire pistol ever made.

I have owned nearly a dozen 22 LR but this is the only one I still have.

I want a U22 Neos right now.

I've been eyeing one. I like the Buckmark more, but the Neos is cheaper. I've heard its reliable and it comes with the attachment rail stock. But what my gunshop owner says "I really can't move those things, they just look like ****. Nobody wants ****."

My wife has a Browning Buckmark 22lr. Gotta admit it is a fun little gun to shoot. We got it as her first gun to learn the basics on. Nowadays it is good, cheap shooting fun.

Sure, here's my Ruger MKII. Mainly a bowling pin gun.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a267/bscott433/MK%20II/RugerMKII001.jpg

MatchDot sight, Clark trigger and mag release, Volquartsen sear, hammer and bushings. Hogue grip.
I've since removed the sights and reversed the rail, moving the Matchdot back about an inch for better balance. I think this summer it's going to receive a Tac-Sol barrel.

Great for pin shooting during the winter when we only shoot .22's due to the pins being frozen.

Bottom gun is the one. Marlin 60 a coworker gave me for free. The scope on it is a Famous Maker 4x32 I got for $20. The rings I had laying around. Scary accurate.

Ruger MkII, circa approx mid 90's. The gun is completely stock, except for a home-made blast shield over the inside of the trigger. No LCI indicator or other modern internal safety device. Heel mag release.

This is the short tapered barrel version. The balance is nearly perfect in my hand, and feels exactly like a pistol should. The sights aren't adjustable, and in low-light may be difficult to see if your target is a black bullseye. Most of these guns can be finicky with ammo. Mine likes CCI Minimags, and is very accurate at moderate distances.

The trigger has little takeup and a pretty decent break. Aftermarket parts reportedly improve it, but I like it just the way it is. In addition, it CAN be dry fired without damage; in fact, you have to do this to take it apart.

Disassembly is difficult when you don't know how, but simple once you do... sort of like a Rubik's cube.

VLR with the cartridges in the mid feed/eject position (the top one would normally be a fired case). Note the cam that raises the cartridge into position. These are a firearm that you DON'T want to disassemble, as everything is adjustable and getting the timing right is a bitch.

A common as dirt Ruger MK II.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/9x19/Picture006.jpg

A not so common S & W model 43 22/32 airweight kit gun. The barrel on this one is on a bit too tight. As a result, the rear sight is cranked all the way to the left, and it still shoots too far to the right. When I get some funds, I am going to have to get the pin knocked out, barrel turned a couple of degrees to the right, re-drilled and pinned.

A Woodsman for $800, man I'm going to the wrong gun shows! All of the ones I see of those and Smith 41s are more like $1200-$1500. I have wanted a Woodsman for years, but one of my friends that has one and a Smith 41 let me shoot them back to back and I ended up liking the 41 better. Maybe someday I'll be able to get both so I won't have to decide.

I've been looking for a DA 22 rimfire revolver for some time, and found one today at a local gun show. S&W model 18-3. Very minty. Just couldn't pass up an un-glory-holed piece that looked and felt like this one. The 4" Smith's just feel right and balanced in the hand.

Both of these were given to me by my Grandfather.
My favorite to play with. It is very accurate and no perceived recoil after shooting the .357.

The 87a was my first 'real' rifle when I was a youngster. It will always have a soft spot with me.

Heavy, but accurate, took a lotta squirrels and rabbits with it over the years. Killed a few vermin, went thru no tellin how many bricks.

Thanks for the pic G-19, it really brings back a lot of memories

This is one that I put a Colt Conversion o. Caspian frame with wannabe Advantage grips. It is a good training tool when I need to knock the rust off on my iron sight work for IPSC matches. It is a great way to teach beginners how to use the basic 1911 platform. I have no idea where I turned up a Caspian frame but I was shocked when I finally noticed the maker. I thought it was an Essex but that one is on my 9 MM speed gun.
