There free, but just about all gone. I believe I have 2 green ones, (stripe and solid) and a number 13 for anyone NOT superstitious......

Mans gotta have REAL balls to reload wit a #13 ball :ready:

Looks good Al, some a dem Lee balls come off pretty easy. The one on my loadmaster come right off in my hand:dita:

Had one on the Lee cast single stage I had to take the visegrips to:blast:

Bout popped the veins in my neck tryin to unscrew it :)
Turns out it was a tight press fit on a tapered shaft. Like Jawja recommended I took the handle off and whacked the ball good till it let go :)

I had to take out a bit of material off the threads to get mine on (see below). Nothing drastic, but I would not want to send freak a altered ball. I tried to muscle it on before, but it was not going. It fits like a glove now though, I loaded 200 rounds of .45 tonight and t'was smoooooooth.

Yep should thread right on the LNL, Every ball was threaded on an extra 550 handle to verify function gar-ron-teeeed...........

Ah, a little thread filing.

ANeat, it wouldn't be out the realm of possibilities for his LNL handle to be out of spec, it's just a piece of round stock with threading on both ends, probably bought from China.

Anythings possible, the old tap could be getting a little wear after 60+ balls:yikes:

Looks good Bill, Thats an old school ball there, I didnt drill to many stripes like that for whatever reason.

Its a little easier to line up on the small circle the number is in and drill it.

Guys I really appreciate the offer and I may just take you up on it. This has got me thinking, rather than go hunt down a bargain somewhere on a set of balls, why not just order the ones we want. Everyone seems to want an 8 ball, it would go with every press.........right???

The links Dan posted earlier has a couple places, and there are others where you can order the individual balls, dont have to worry about getting the right color..

Am I off my rocker or would this be even better????

Anvil I have Paypal but they are rather unfriendly anymore about anything gun related. For that reason I only deal with them when absolutly necessary.

I'm feeling rather inadequate without one of Aneat's balls on my bench.

However, I have a roller handle on my 550 and I'm quite pleased with it. What should I do? Can I mount a ball on the top of the powder hopper? Could a ball ride on the plastic primer follower rod? Maybe use a ball to adjust the seating die...

Help!!!

I've got the same delima

I'm thinking the plastic primer follower rod. That wouldn't look ridiculous.... well, I'll bet the Aneat ball would be at least as comfortable as the roller handle. Truth is I can't really use one but I want to reward Aneat for being so good to us GP'ers.
