I have thought about getting one of those to practice with my Glocks for even less. Do they make them for the wide framed Glocks, like the G30?

I got mine from the Glockmeister because he was the only one that had it in stock at the time. TopGlock sells um, I think Lone Wolf sells um, quite a few places. The demand was so high that the company stopped selling them direct so as to meet the orders from their distributors. That was last fall, not sure of the supply situation right now, back then supply depended on which model you were looking for.

I thought Glockmeister got into some legal hot water. Every discussion about it over on GT got closed down.

I have the AA kit for my G35 and it works and shoots very good. However I like shooting 1911 so bought a Kimber Rimfire Target. Same feel as my Super Match II but much lighter. When I shoot 22lr I now shoot the Kimber almost exclusively. Only problem is that I cannot reload for it. :)

I have the AA kit for my G-17.. I had an adapter made so I can use my 22LR suppressor on it.
Cycles fine without the suppressor, but if you do decide to add a suppressor, be aware that an overly heavy suppressor will monkey with the slide cycle, so stick with an all aluminum can.
I have a BOWERS MOUT, basically a CAC-22 with OmegaŽ baffle stack, with a stainless tube (thats where all the weight is)... mine will run if I hold it real firm, and keep it clean & oiled.

+1 on the Advantage Arms kit. I picked up mine from Lone Wolf Dist. I had to shop around since only a few had them in stock for the G26. It does save quite a bit of cash.

LOVE the AA kit for my G-19. It's lightweight, no recoil and VERY FUN to shoot. (not to mention $0.03 per round) My old eyes have a harder time seeing the smaller holes in the targets, but the groupings are awesome. One of the best things I bought for my Glock.
Hope you all enjoy!!

The local range has an AA kit setup on a 17 frame, in the RENTAL gun rack !
That says a lot for the reliability of the package. It's also one of the most rented guns.
The AA is by far the best .22LR conversion on the market. Now if the extra mags wern't so hard to get. Usually when you try to order them, they're out of stock.

An update, I shot a couple hundred Remington Golden Bullets through it last weekend (WW 550 pack) and it ran great. A couple duds but no big deal. Good primer strikes just bad rounds. Sure cheaper than mini-mags, LOTS of cheap fun. We taught my son's girlfriend to shoot with the G23 and MKIII.

I'm hearin' more and more 'bout the Rem Golden Bullets crappin' out. Sad, they used to be, well...Golden.

I guess the failure rate was around, or a little over, 1%. Just guessing on how many rounds are left out of the 550 ... I think 3 or 4 duds ... not too bad.

I load up two CCI 100 round boxes (that used to have some flavor of CCI 22lr bullets) for a range trip with the Remington Golden Bullets and have maybe 1 failure per 100. The failures are either failure to load into battery or failure to eject. Not too bad. Considering that I didn't pay a lot for the bullets and it is not my daily carry "setup". I do enjoy how it lets me practice with my trigger pull of the gun I carry daily.

Man I love anything that comes in a bulk pack cuz I'm cheap and so are they. For me the Golden Bullets run just as good as Federal in my J.C. Higgins semi-auto rifle and I haven't had a FTF in anything that I remember that had a round nose. It chokes like a mofo on any truncated bullet but round nose and holler points feed like butta. It's a .22 and they are cheaper than just the primers for a centerfire, what are you all expecting?

hey Monte, I'm happy. Roughly 1 in 100 failed to fire, works for me.

Heck ya, 1% is awesome for rimfire in my book cuz I'm not going to Beijing or anything. If it have a dud I rack it onto the ground and keep firing. It is fun experimenting with rimfire and getting some Remington subsonics, Mini-Mags, Stingers, and my favorite Velocitors.
