This is for enternainment purposes only. I do not suggest that you do it. While setting up a ghost you may experience a ND. Do not come running to me if you blow your legs off.

Having said that. I have been ghosting since the day I bought my Shotty. I like it and wow 10 shell of 00 bucks makes me feel much safer in my home. I also keep some slugs and #4 around just for fun. Message do not come to my house with out knocking first.

SO HOW TO GHOST A SHELL

This should work on a The FN auto loader shotguns SLP and the Mark I SLP it should also work on a Winchester 2X ( i think that is what it is called)

Place weapon on safe

Check safety.

Make sure weapon is on safe.

Repeat as necessary.

Step 1 load up the tube. Mine gets 8 in the tube.

Step 2 Press up on the feed ramp (so that the ramp is in the middle of the shell in the tube) so that it block the shell from leaving the tube.

Step 3 Pull back on the bolt all the way. And hold it open until later.

Step 4 Hand feed a shell into the chamber.

Step 5 (the ramp should be up) place a second shell directly behind the shell in the chamber.

Step 6 easy the bolt forward about an inch (until it is just about ready to make contact with the "ghosted shell" then genlty start to push down on the shell so it will ride on the ramp below the bolt.

When you are done. There should be eight in the tube. One shell sitting on the ramp just rattling around and one in the chamber.

If you have any more questions let me know.

These might work in other shotguns but I only have experience with my FN SLP Mark I

Heard the same thing about the older Benelli's. John Norrell will modify the newer ones for about $100.

Since I can't figure out how this is useful, I'm just gonna come out and ask. What is the purpose of this?

If you can't take care of the problem with 8 rounds of buckshot, I would suyggest that two more ain't gonna be much help. Probably shoulda had Ma Deuce to back you up!

but that 1 more round at the start of a 3 gun match might mean 1 less reload on the clock.......

+1. Or when you're hunting with a three round limit.

"See here, Officer, one round in the chamber and two in the tube." ;)

I have been checked hundreds of times hunting. For four legged and flying critters. Almost every time that I have been checked, I have had to unload in front of the wildlife officer and show clear. He the checks to see if my shotgun is plugged correctly. If you pull out an extra round, you would have some explaining to do. Not to mention a fine and possible loss of license.
