A buddy at work just asked me if I wanted some .357 and .38 special brass. Well duh!. Figured it would be 50 or 60 rounds. I ended up with this:

About 800 rounds of .357. Got about the same for the .38's. I'll have to bring the .38's home tomorrow. Too heavy to carry all of it home on the bus!

Sorry Dark Horse, sending this stuff across the border might be a problem. I know bringing it up this way is a royal pain. Lots of time, paperwork and oh ya, $500 for the export permit please!
If there are any noobs at the range this year I'll gift them a couple hundred.

Sadly, no Rollis. I'm not sure what the rules are going INTO the US though.
My buddy just asked if I wanted any more (silly question!). Said he'd see if he can get me some .44 mag too.

What if someone gifted you some? Same problem?

No problems as long as your DHS doesn't find out. Then it could be time at Club Fed.

Toting a box full of GSR through DHS jurisdiction and on public transit is a sure fire way to make friends. Just sayin'.

Ya, there was a handful of nickel plated stuff. Finally got around to counting the .38spl. 925 rounds. I'll share some of that with any noobs at my range that could use some.

That is the truth. My Cuban seegar connection decided to find a new job after spending some time in Club Fed for selling em.

I have an acquaintance in the US who wanted some .338LM brass (once fired), when I looked into it I needed to get an Export permit, he had to go to an FFL to get an Import permit. Once the paperwork was GTG then I would have to ship it to the FFL.
This info came from BATFE.
