6K Hornady 55gr from Widener's. I will be sharing 2K of 'em with a fellow shooter. I bought 1K of these at a gun show and found them to my liking, so was willing to invest the $ to get a pile at 7.5 cents a pill. A rifleman's gotta practice, yeah?
When I opened the box, and the angel's sang, I just had to share the moment with y'all. :cheezy:

Ahhh.......what little beauties. I often shoot the same bullet along with MG's which I find to be excellent as well. I just might print your photo and hang it up on the wall it's so pretty. :cheezy:

Dave,
Only Bush Pilot had a bullet stash so huge. Now you, too! :)
I've loaded quite a few Hornady 55s and agree, they shoot quite well with several powders.
Wideners has always been a good supplier for me.

You've got Hornady bullets?!!! They are very scarce up here. The locals haven't received a Hornady order in over 7 months. I am almost out of 52gr A-Max pills and there is no sign of getting some any time soon.

well ... I don't know about that (BP, nothing personal here ;) )
I never thougth this was so spectacular so I never bragged about it here.
When I buy bullets I usualy buy them in quantities also. Only (HUGE) different is the price we pay here in Europe compare to the price you pay in the U.S.
Last time I went on bullet-shopping I came home with 10.000 plated 115 grs 9mm, 3.000 encapsulated 230 grs 45 ACP and 6.000 BT FMJ 55 grs 224 dia (222 and 223 rem).

Why does it cost more? Tax?
I bet we pay 30-40% more for a decent bier. Micro breweries aside, if we want decent bier it has to be imported from Germany, Czech., or Belgium.

not even for tax, just higher profit !!! I supose demand is also not as big as in the US so quantities are less and prices high.
... and for the beer , sorry man , the ONLY decent beer is Belgian beer !
and I am not even a beer drinker !!:drunk:
