I think we can agree that load data today is conservative but noticed it with WSF in 9mm in particular. I ain't alludin to none of my work-up levels here but can tell you the 124 data is stupid mild.
The 40 data is much more accurate with the typical margin that exists with other product.
I like WSF when I'm not in the mood for the flash and bang of Power Pistol. I also find it especially suitable for use in shorter barrel lengths where it's slightly faster burn rate seems to behave better than the slower burn rate of Power Pistol.
What say you's guys?

WSF is a good faster powder. It is more lead friendly than some other powders like Bullseye and Titegroup.

+1, it's alot like Unique but abit better metering. I've had good luck w/ it in std. vel. loads in 9mm, 40 & 45acp.

I really Like WSF. I am Reworking loads in all my calibers for it.

It worked great for my first 50 reloads in .40. The data published by Winchester / Hodgedon definitely seems mild. I found a private source that quotes a max charge of 7.2gr compared the the published data of only 6.5. 6.5 felt good to me but I didn't see even a hint of high pressure signs. So I figure there's got to be some room left.

Yeah, 9mm data is very conservative. In the beginning of March, I decided to go for major with WSF, and made it. Behaves similar to Silhouette.

I shot some 6.4 grain loads underneath a Zero 165 JHP and observed no obvious pressure issues.
Gonna Chrony them this week.
