I loaded up some Rainier 115's and a batch of Lead 142's. This powder supposedly shines best with lead. I did a batch of 10 each of 3.2,3.4 and 3.6 @ AOL of 1.125. All of them shot really soft. Just a touch softer then tightgroup going by memory. They all smoked significantly less then TG as well. The 3.4 seemed to shoot the best in this limited run. Supposedly 3.3 grs and 145gr Precisions makes PF pretty easily in a G34. I think I will load up some 3.4's for this weekends match as that was a very nice shooting round. All the 142's ran the stock spring on the Glock just fine. I did not try any week hand so I will need to test that in the future. Rainiers were at 3.8 gr OAL 1.162 They would not cycle the gun and jammed constantly. Very soft feeling. I only did them as I had about 25 left and it was worth it just to see how they compared to the tightgroup rounds I used in the past. I would think 4.1 would work fine but that is supposedly a max load. Lots of people have worked up past 4.1 with no pressure signs. This is not a common pistol powder so data is minimal. Great powder to cut the smoke out of your shooting. That was my goal along with a soft easy to control round.
