Piece of cake to replace, a sight pusher helps tremendously for the rear.
The stock front sight is plastic, so when you remove it, it's trashed.
I like TruGlo's for the bucks, but mepros or trijicons are always a good option
If you don't have a sight pusher for the rear, you can drift it in place with a brass punch and a plastic hammer, just go slow and you'll be fine.
I like green front and rear, but a lotta folks like the dual color setups.
Orange, yellow and blue aren't (usually) as bright as green, but the contrast does help with sight acquisition

I have Trijicon night sights on a few of my pistols, they work very well for me.
Personally, I have never installed them myself, they came on them from the factory.
It is supposed to be a relatively easy DIY job from what I understand though, provided you have the right tools.
For Glocks you will need a thin walled socket for the front sight, and a sight pusher for the rear sight.

Hi BGGB,
I agree with Slick and I prefer all green myself.
I got to recommend the Trijicon. I usually use Ameriglo Classic's which are the same thing, but OEM'd to Ameriglo. The code GSSF used to get a 25% discount at the www.ameriglo.com website. Not sure if it is still valid or not.
You may find it cheaper to check a local police supply and buy the sights from them installed, or they may charge you $20 to install your sights, etc. I really wouldn't want to do it with a punch and drifting myself.
Good luck,
Alan

Yes almost makes it too easy. I wouldn't want to have to do it without. I have never replaced the front. I would also recommend an adjustable rear, huge difference.
