This should probably go under another heading, feel free to move it if needed..

but...

I live in Nebraska and it can get quite humid here..

carrying IWB...I have noticed on occasion a little moisture on the body side of my pistol.

I understand why it happens...cool air temp pistol having a lower dew point than my body creates condensation...

is there any way to prevent it?

So far I just wipe it down nightly, and give it a light oil wipe down weekly...too much or not enough...?

BTW it is a G20..

Based on the abuse my duty pistol and backup gun take I believe you're doing plenty fine with the routine you've established.

+1 It should be a non-issue.

If it really bothers you, some IWB holsters may have a moisture barrier. The only one that I know of is SmartCarry.

thanks for the replies guys...

I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to pull a rusty pistol out of the holster one day...

You should be good to go. I'll bet the Florida/Georgia/Alabama humidity could give that Nebraska humidity a run for it's money!

well, the good new is that I created my own tuckable frankenholster....

it works great, and if it starts to....well...let say collect to much moisture...I can throw it away and replace it for about 7 bucks...

Put ya some Corrosion X on it an you a be good thru hell an high water ;)

For real.

I sweated a Milt Sparks holster so bad it molded a couple three years ago. Pistola was just fine.

I hadta replace da holster, it was ripe deluxe.

Hustlin ww's in 100 degree heat is hard on leather

All I do wit that gun is wipe it once a month or so with Corrosion X and keep it clean/lubed and ready ta go. Never a problem in the last 12+ years since I had it.

Give the gun a good coating of regular auto wax. It'll keep it just fine for months.
