A South Bend woman in her 70s kicked a would-be robber (http://www.wsbt.com/news/local/94546239.html) in the groin after he tried to grab her wallet on south Lake Street Thursday morning, according to a police report. The woman told police she was holding flowers in her left hand and her wallet in her right hand, when a teenager approached and tried to grab her wallet.
She refused to let go of it, and he displayed a cap gun, at which point she kicked him in the groin, the report said.
The teenager then kicked the woman in the leg and fled the scene, according to the report.
I'll donate to purchasing a pair of steel toed boots for this woman.
