Just beat my 16 year old son for the 2nd time ever in a local IDPA match this weekend! My score was a little over 6 pts better and I was more accurate!
He usually beats the crap out of me, but I been practicin..... :beer:

Always nice to put a youngster in their place now and again, but, it's gotta feel good he's been doing so well too.

Back when I dabbled with competition shooting, I used to shoot with my niece and we'd shoot for brass rights. I kept losin my brass to her so I quit that right quick.

Good job NReamer! I'll bet it doesn't feel too bad to lose to him since you get to enjoy the sport with your son. :thumbsup:

Right on all accounts. It is good to put 'em in their place, and it is great to share the sport with him.
With practice, he could be a great shooter, I can see that already. He looks like he is moving in slow motion, very fluid movements, yet his times are usually very, good. I think it is further proof that slow is smooth and smooth is fast. He shoots a G21, usually in SSP, so he can load more rounds, of course! I refuse to take him to USPSA until he starts footing the bill for his own ammo. :-)
