308 Hertenberger ammo

Aim Surplus has 308 ammo at a reasonable price. $80 per 200 round can with 4 rounds linked. Supposed to be mostly berdan with some boxer mixed in. Just a heads up for those who might need some.

Hirt is some of the best surplus you will ever see in your whole entire life.

Never seen it mixed boxer and berdan, but no matter how it comes, I'd grab some fast if I needed it.

It ain't gonna last long.

Got it yesterday and it is all bright and shiny. Gotta shoot a little and see if'n its boxer or not. Either way, it's fodder for the Remington 700 with the Williams Guide rear peep sight.

Oh man.

If you're gonna run it in a bolt gun, label, mark, keep track of and never shoot it in another gun.

Hirt will last ya a good long time in a nice tight chamber.

Ream the pockets lightly to remove the crimp and you're good to go for a while.

How much were you able to get ?

I could afford two cans, so 400 rounds. I really hope it is boxer, but won't be heartbroke if it isn't.
