I just traded into some stuff with some .480 Ruger Hornady brass in the mix, and I have a few .480 Ruger jacketed bullets I got a while back.
Need to trade or sell the stuff, because I'm never going to use it.
The brass is known once fired, still in the original factory 20 rnd boxes

I have been looking into getting a SRH in 480 to go with the RH in 44 mag. Even though I don't shoot it now I would trade you for brass in 40s&W, 9mm, 357mag, 44mag, 38spl, 223. I also have about 10 or 20 once fired 10mm I would throw in for you. The only bullets I have for trade are in 44mag Sierra JHC 180 and 240's or MBC 44 smashers. If you want any of this let me know.

Cool.
I'll get a check of my stuff at home and see what I need.
It'll take a day or two, but, I'm sure we can work out something that makes it worth the trade for you ;)
I'm thinking I need .357 Mag and .38 Special, but, I've gotta make sure.
Thanks !!

Just let me know what you need. Even if I don't end up getting a .480 soon, one of my brother's buds has one and I have been trying to get him into loading. Heck, I might just get a set of dies and load some up to shoot out of his gun.

Slick, do you still have that 480 stuff? I just got one to load for and could always use components. If you got em, let me know what you would take for them. I have a few bullet designs for 357 and 38 from MBC and some 38 brass, maybe some 357 too. Let me know if you are interested. I would also be able to throw some cash your way as well.

Yep, I still have em at home, I didn't get/take the time to dig em out last time I was home at Christmas as I had a lot to deal with that I didn't plan on when I got there.
They're yours, I'll dig em out and send em soon as I get home.
I don't know who makes the bullets, but they look real nice, and the brass is known once fired, still in the factory boxes (I think).
I'll send em, and if you can use em, send me something in trade. I'd be more specific, but I haven't been home long enough the last 3 trips to know exactly what I need, but, just about anything will do.
I'll let you know soon as I have my hands on em ;)

Awesome. My brother was able to buy it off one of his friends at a great price. I have been trying to buy it off the same guy for a few years. After he bought it I told him it would just be a matter of time before he decided to sell due to the cost of shooting it. I have been trying to get the guy to start reloading as well. His loss is our gain. He had some brass for it, but not much. I am prolly gonna get some bullets from pennbullets, I think they are the only commercial casters that make that caliber at a sane price. Who knows, after shooting this for a while, maybe I will finally take the casting plunge.
Let me know what you need when you figure it out. Thanks again.

I took a hard look at em back when I got the bullets, I just couldn't find any data or options in the caliber without ordering online.
The numbers do look good though. 1100 fps @ 35k with a 400gr WFN is nothing to sneeze at. 50AE performance, better bullet, 10mm pressures in a Super Redhawk...
You can shoot that all day long and not get tired and never feel under gunned.
I think it would be a real nice hog gun, and an even better medium game gun if you can get a shot within range.
