There are a couple of Koskis in SoCal. I dunno if they are related to Steve, and in one case I hope she isn't.

There are hundreds, thousands, millions, billions, trillions of Koskis.

Okay, at least a dozen.

Most are better looking than me and my brother, thankfully.

There's several hundred Koski's in the UP. Lots of Finnish heritage up here. I'm just a stupid Kraut transplant from Green Bay.

As long as they load .40s exclusively, they're alright in my book.

They need more "cow bell", though.

Here's a bit of trivia: "Koskis" is just about the most popular alcoholic beverage in Finland. It's short for Koskenkorva Vodka.
So every time I see a reference to Koski's this or that, I giggle a little.

Trivia item two... koski means river, rapids, or stream.
Add a couple of letters and you can get "Koskiko?" which would mean either "Was it Koski?" or "Did it hurt?".

Finnish sucks.

No - Salmiakki sucks. One of the wonderful Finnish phrases I've learned over the years: Äitisi nai poroja.

I think Koski's just been spreadin' seed during conventions. I shudder to even think about that.

Salmiakki is purdy good. Salmiakkikossu (That's Koskis with salmiakki added) is even better. That phrase make me spew Skoal on my screen.

Yes, it was fishing tackle. I am that MJC.

I would also recommend 2Shot as a good person to do business with. It was a very smooth, fast transaction. The G27 is laying next to me as I type.

The reason I've been scarce is I'm doing a little to well. 2008 was a very good year with close to a 40% increase in business which I'm still handling by myself. I'm certaining not complaining mind you.

I try to sneak a peak every now and then and to see if you guys are still behaving and haven't gone completely over the edge.

I really enjoyed Cohutt's piece on primer and powder storage. I'm certainly glad I don't have any of that dangerous stuff stacked around the house.:yikes:

I'm surprised this site would be block by anyone's filters, not like we are a hardcore porn site or anything.

Our filters at work will block a lot of stuff for the common folk based on keyword. I was logged on as a standard user one day and got blocked on this site because one page said "big load" and it classified it as porn. Thankfully us IT type folk are all domain admins and have no restrictions or logging on anything.
