Anyone using these? I'm getting ready to place my first order for components and these Wolf primers were the cheapest I saw.
Also, any thoughts on using Berry's plated 9mm projos?
I'll be reloading on a 550 and was looking at these components:
Hogdgon's clay, wolf primers, berry's plated 115 gr.
Thanks for the help guys,
Jake

Clays isn't too good in the 9mm. Most folks have a hard time getting acceptable accuracy with it.
All reports are that Wolf primers work well. Berrys bullets are fine.

I'm with Steve on this one. I've not been able to get Clays to shoot worth squat with 115 grainers although, others have gotten good results with it on 147's.

Bought 2000 Wolf SP primers today at the Tulsa gun show. I'll give them a shot and see how they shoot.

I've been using Wolf LP and SP, they always go bang. They feed nicely through my 650. I don't have a chrono so I can't tell you how the SD on them seems to be.
And the price is a major +1

I ordered 5kwolf primers from PV. I've shot about 1k with no problems. For the price I think wolf will be my primer of choice.

Thanks for the info guys. Anyone have a 9mm powder recommendation? I plan to go with a large quantity. I'm reloading for subguns mostly so detailed accuracy isn't vitally important.

Winchester Super Field (WSF) alot of guys here use it, and it's awesome for 9mm.

I just got 15K SP from Powder valley. They seem to run fine in my .40 and 9MM. No problems with my 650..

There's a lot of really good shooting powder for 9MM...my personal favorites are Ramshot Silhouette and Winchester WSF. Vithavuori 3N37 and N-330 shoots great in my guns but is pricey and 330 is very hard to find nowadays.

For 9mm I've had good luck with WSF and AA5. I haven't ever used Wolf primers but have had success with Berrys bullets.
