5 gal bucket full of wet sand will stop a boolit and is semi portable.

Are you shooting through the side of the barrel?

Right now I'm shooting into the side of a 5gal. bucket. After about 300 rds it's looking a little worse for wear. It works suprisingly well for handgun rounds up to 10mm/45acp. Anything more is going straight through. I've got a plastic 30 gal drum that I'm going to cut in half (girthwise) to make 2 more. Portability's not really an issue cause it's on my personal load development range (backyard).

That is pretty neat! may save a trip or two to the tire shop. I may try this on Friday.
