You guys that use it: do you see any difference in accuracy/leading when carrying in a baggy compared to an ammo box?

I haven't and I've boxed them versus stored loose in a coffee can. this was for pistol ammo not shot past 25 yards though- so take it for what its worth.

Warshed pepperoni baggie counts as included in my original question. Unwarshed pepperoni baggie would add more lube to the bullets and is not pertinent to this thread question.

Jawja, is it gettin' warm enough fer ya ta start puttin' sunblock on yer neck?

 Warm enough for short sleeves 'bout erry day. Sunblock? Da redder da better. So they say.

Oh, the thread question. Sorry. Theoretically, I can't see where it would make any difference. I've tried rubbing off the LLA with fingers, and cloth. Some comes off, but not all. That which is in the micro-grooves remains there.

You need some to experiment with?

No thanks. I have some LLA and am experimenting on suspect poorly lubed bullets. I wondered if the LLA would ruin an ammo box. That LLA will stick yer shorts to yer jeans--permanent like.

BTW: warshed vs. unwarshed pepperoni baggies? Shootin rounds stored in a stock baggie makes a halo of pizza aroma all around the warm gun.

That lube ( Lee tumble lube ) is really a corrosion prevention goop from WW twice . Its listed under "Paralketone / black bear " it sells for 12-$14 a quart at airport / pilot supply shops .Its one of the hardest to remove smells ,,, if it gets in your skin wet.

no difference. my tl bullets live in a bucket after they are loaded, then in a baggie to go on a field trip, then in a magazine, then in a berm.

If the tackiness is an issue, they can be sprinkled with corn starch or baby powder.

Wrong kind of lube. I've said that before.

I coat the cast bullets I buy with LLA. I get a lot less leading than when using the crappy wax lube they come with.

I also stick them into plastic ammo boxes. Doesn't ruin them at all.
