in a 4 inch 625 I load 4.0 grains of clays, 230 grain moly round nose, fedral primers. I have been getting some real ugly keyholes in the cardbord, some holes are normal some raged keyholes. anybody know whats going on here?

?
Odd. That's the top end for 230g with clays.
I'd mic the bullets to get true diameter, maybe they are a little skinny?

How are the throats? Didn't some 625's have problems with throat size, or were those 25's?

I'd look for one throat sized a little too small.
4.0 is max with straight Clays for a jacketed round, not sure about cast.

If you taper crimp too much it will tumble. Don't ask me how I know!!
