It appears that you have some gaps in the data storage -- perhaps a disk defragmentation is due? :biggrinjester:

That is specifically against our range rules and is addressed in the annual safety meeting. I guess people get frustrated with hard drives.

Being a 40GB that thing must be five years old, no wonder is croaked. BIGGUNGOBOOM and myself have blown up all matter of **** in the desert and some of our favs are old PCs. I have an abundance of old computer crap lying around work so most of it meets a horrible fate in the desert with a pound or two of Tannerite strapped to it. Panasonic might rate their Toughbooks for a 3ft fall but obvioiusly they don't rate them for a pound of Tannerite lit off by a .30-06, got the handle left from that one but that's it.

Well see...I saw the problem right off the bat...its a Maxtor...don't buy those and you'll be fine...

a lot of different computer parts are shaped like targets for a REASON !!!!!
