Anyone for an 80%-sized 1911 in .22? As long as one is not intending on it being a trainer for full sized 1911s. I like the idea of a miniaturized 1911 and may just have to get one but i am extremely irritated that for the price, it doesn't have real wood grips?!

I also wouldn't mind the matching commemorative set they show on this link. If it was given to me. Hopefully it at least comes with real grips for the horrible amount of money they are wanting. It shows a good size comparison between the full size and the new .22.

Kinda intriguing, if you ask me.

Now, in addition to the hope that one day I will have a S&W 617, I have this news to deal with!!!! That would be a cool plinking pistol for sure.

I would sure like to see one up close.

But it comes with just one magazine.....

Bastads !!!!! Plastic grips and one mag on a $500 .22 pistol. I can get plastic grips and THREE mags for $500 by buying a Glock 22!

LGS said he'd sell me the Browning 1911-22 for $539. I REALLY want one. But not that much! I could by an ISSC Glock clone AND a GSG 1911 for almost that same price!
