heres how we grill da yard birds, you rub the the bird down with the lemon pepper then you have quart of basting concoction which is 1/3 quart of peanut oil(georgia of course) 1/3 quart of white vinegar and then top the quart off with franks hot sauce, shake very well and baste your birds heavily, I mean heavily( I have mine in a plastic bottle with 3 each 1/8th ' holes drilled in the top , flip upside down and sqeeze to give the old shower effect) every 15-20 minutes then close the grill ,let cook sum mo and repeat till done, it does not have a hot taste at all but it will be the BEST grilled chicken you ever had,, for real

I'm gonna do up some quail with a close rendition of your Q'in sauce. Frank's is great hot sauce, the original Buffalo Hot Wing Sauce! Only 'stead of wangs I be eatin quail drumlettes!

BTW, a good Buffalo Hot Wing recipe starts with Frank's, catsup and butter. But don't try using it like that over a fire.
