Don't know much at all about these..never had a real one...I have the basic Forster trimmer (over 20 years old and still doing great) to which I added a "power adapter" once and trimmed a few .223's using an electric screwdriver for a power supply...it worked OK but I know there are better things out there..
Looking for some recommendations, brands, etc....I will be trimming .223 brass, probably 600 to a 1,000 cases at each loading session 3 or 4 times a year...

I just went through this process the last month or so, specifically with .223/.556.
Wanted a Giraud but thought I'd try the RCBS Power Trimmer at less cost.
My first 300 or so were Winchester commercial that took about 15-20 second cycle times per case to trim to 1.750.
I started on a fresh batch of WCC cases that take well over 30 seconds cycle time each even with a new cutter.
I sold the RCBS......and ordered a Giraud.

Do you know how much time the Giraud saved??
Man, 30 seconds per trim is not fast...I can do better that that manually on my Forster trimmer but the "power supply" wears out faster than it used to..

Watch the video and remember that your seeing the trimming, chamfer, and debur in about a 5-6 second cycle time if I recall.
EDIT: I was incorrect....cycle time is about 3 secends per case.

When in a good rhythm I can trim 1K of brass in an hour with the Giraud while watching TV....The trimmer is quiet.
