Hello,

I've got extra .223, 9mm, .40, and .45 used brass. What's it worth in dirty/unpolished condition?

Thanks for any help,

Jake

Not worth hanging onto.

Send it all my way, and I will reimburse you the postage. ;)

Seriously though, I have no idea, sorry.

I'd surf the WTS forum of AR15 to get a good idea of asking prices.

I do some selling on reloaders auction, the .40 usually goes for about $20 per 1,000 the .223 for about $45-50 per 1,000. The ones I sell are all cleaned polished decapped and the .223 is swaged. I haven't dealt with any 9 mm or .45 lately. Hope this helps.

They seem to be coming down some. About time.

I know brass has a different value to different people. I had to scrape some of the brass I had because I was in need of money. 333 pounds was worth 749.25 dollars to me. I did sort out about 100 pounds and kept it for myself, but sure did hate having to get rid of the rest.
