Went over to my friends place and fired up his Master Caster. I poured about 1000 rounds of 147gr FP 9mm's. I wanted to do some 130gr .38's too, but he had run a pile of them on his Bulletmaster MK IV, so I just swapped him 38 lbs. of alloy and a 1/2lb bar of 63/37 solder for 2000 sized and lubed .38's.

Frosty,
Good work, pard! My fave 9mm bullet is a 147 and it looks like you appreciate them too! They look excellent.

Great looking boolit's. I, can't wait till I, have accumilated enough range lead to justify getting into casting. At the rate I'm going it should only be another decade, or so.

It's the Magma Engineering offering.

It's good to have friends w/ good equip you can borrow. I like my MasterCaster, it isn't faster than a 6cav mold, but I can cast for hours & not get tired.

Agreed! If I can ever save enough coin (shipping will probably cost as much as the Master Caster!) I will be getting one. It isn't necessarily better or faster, just easier.
