Got off of work at eight this morning, tired and driving home. Took a 4-mile detour to stop by a former police range that is now (sorta) open to the public because the po-po built themselves a real nice (locked fenced) new one two miles down the road and abandoned this one.

Twenty minutes in and out:

.223 77
.270 44
.243 40
.308 16
.30-06 12
10mm 29
.45 Colt 20 (nickel Win PDX cases)
.38-Sp 86
.303 Brit 14
.45 Auto 124

I'm gonna bermine this bi-tch when it's dry.

And...... Now that I have fourteen pieces of .303 British brass I ought to just go head and get an Enfield, right? :yay:

I have a couple of hundred .303 Brit cases. Once our long gun registry is dead I will probably pick one up here.

The last time i was at a public range, I stood there and almost cried. We were visiting my daughter in NM and I wasn't sure what TSA would think about me trying to board a plane with all that brass in my bag. I only had a carry on, no checked bag. Turns out that on the last leg of our flight home, Dallas to Nashville, they found a 22 lr stuck way down in the corner of my bag :jawdrop:. I couldn't believe it. They were real good about the whole thing and just kept the round and let me through.

You could have just shipped the brass home. :)

They obviously had no idea about the destructive power of a single .22 rimfire round. If they had known this

you would probably be in some gulag right now......

" If it went off inside the plane...... the plane would decompress.... and everyone would get sucked out..... and then the plane would implode....." and then you could click the remote and either turn the channel or turn it off.... cuz that would never happen.....except in Hollywierd....

If the brass haul was good enough, I'd of bought a cheap pc. of luggage & checked it !
