Slick~
Didn't you get a 686-6? The chambers are long enough to handle 173-gr 358429 Keith bullets easily, even seated to the crimping groove!
You wanted pics?

Then I got some moulds in a deal.
So, what I'm supposed ta do wit dat ? Daaaaaat's right, get some brass, an a conversion, an some dies, an a gun an some sizer dies.
Least I ain't gotta buy moulds
Save some money dat way ;)
Be here Friday, so, I gonna go get it, come back, move da site over, load up my gear an head to da range, then get home an fire up da rigs an smoke some pork necks I got at down at da meat cutter place in lil mexico over off Jefferson street. Got em cheap too, a whole lot of em too. Meat cutter say dat pig was in a good mood when he died, so they gonna be sweet.
Gonna smoke em up real good an bag a few for later on wit some beans or cabbage.
Then I a get my ass back ta work

Damn Right, a mould follows you home, next thing you know a gun in that caliber close behind. Nothing you can do about it. Praise Be!

Now I feel a lil better.
First thang I'm gonna do is like always, break it down an clean da barrel till it spotless. an lube it real good.
I'm gonna start wit some 148gr button wadcutters wit Jakes Purple an some 2400. Gonna sizem right after I slug it
See what dat get me outta da box
If it shoot real good, I gonna move up to dat 180 SWC/Keith then work my way down to da 158 SWC an then do dat 110gr. Then I a move over to da 148gr DEWC I got from Funksta last year when I started all a this for a lil light stuff.
Got some brass from Gwalchi, an some from TR an got some .38 comin (maybe) wit da gun. I don't have much brass, but I got enough to work wit ta see where thangs is.
Maybe 1/3 a bucket worth, but I a get thru it

What does that clock outta' 4" tube? I only shot 110 grainers outta' my Marlin 1894 and it was quite a flat shootin' squirrel vaporizer.

357 Magnum......easily my most favored handgun caliber, and my first metallic reloads fed a now-departed Model 28--38 Special and 357 Magnum both.
Last week, I went on a varmint hunt with 4 of the Cast Boolit banditos in northern Nevada. Rats died in droves, and another more recently acquired N-frame did some of that work--a 1956 pre-Model 27 x 6.5". Lyman #358156 atop 12.0 grains of 2400 splatted several ground squirrels to 75 yards.

What part of Northern Nevada CZ, few of us on here are from Reno. We enjoy going out and spreading jack rabbit fur around the desert with whatever we choose to carry that day.

Sorry for the delayed response, Monte--not sure of the area name, but it's north of Winnemucca off U.S. 95 in some hay fields. That's the best I can do, maybe 45 minutes' drive.

GTR Christmas x-change.
A Buddy says they would be Ideal for Crushing Wild Boar Skulls.
I want more. I believe a Guy on Cast Boolits.com actually made them.
