Ok...was in the market for a carry sized 1911 in .40 S&W that was a good price (ie: not a $3,000 Wilson or other high end brand...i'm a civil servant for lord's sake...)
Did ALOT of research and figured on an older model Para Ordnance Tac-Forty....commander sized 1911 in .40S&W, double stack.
Then a buddy at my local club decided to sell his Kimber Tactical Ultra II in .45acp. Couldn't help myself. Scored the Kimber with 1 Kimber mag's, 4 Wilson mag's, extra recoil springs for $900.
Now I was contacted by a Para CS rep who has a refurbished dealer model Para Tac-Forty and 2 mag's!
Damn..and I promised myself to not go crazy this year.....
