I called them up a few days ago and told them that I'd lost a screw from the grip. They take down my info and soon thereafter I have 2 new screws.
No talk of charging me a cent.

So why do we force American manufactuers out of America again?

I have no idea. HiPoint is all USA from what I can read.

I would really like to shoot the carbine, I hear only good things about them.
Creo, good thread!
Trivia Question: What firearm was used for the published load data in the Sierra Fifth Edition reloading manual for 9mm Luger pistol?
Answer: Hi Point C9

That is a cool piece of info.
I RO'd at a shoot where there was a bunch of British military. We had ARs, M14, FALs, bolt guns, pistols, almost everything but the 995 Carbine was the favorite, almost hands down among everyone there.
It was probably the cheapest weapon, but people could hit with it like nothing else.

I have the 45acp carbine. Great fun. It shoots my lead boolit loads like a champ.

They are fun, and being made in the USA is just a bonus of epic proportions!

Yeah it might be a good/interesting idea to start a thread that lists guns made in the USA.
HiPoint is a company that takes a lot of flack, but I have 0 complaints about them.

It occurs to me I have only read bad things about Hi-Point from people who have no actual experience with them. I have seen a lot of threads and posts about people saying great things about them recently.

Seems to be a common pattern.
Anyone who owns one loves it.
