I stuffed 405 gr cast bullets over 40.0 gr of IMR 4198 and ran these things through the little .45-70 Guide Gun. Thumpers for sure. The impact on my heavy steel plates was violent.

Probably nothing big enough worth picking up to use again. It's obscene how much lead is in the ground at my range.

I know I've put a good 40,000+ rounds in that hillside. And I would not be at all surprised if all the other folks who have shot up there with me have beat that by a wide margin.
