This really is a great all around gun cleaning and lube product.
I have been using it for about 2 years now. Works great.

The thing i also like about Eezox. That if i clean a weapon with my normal technique. I clean until the cotton patch comes out clean. if I send another eezox patch down I can get more crude out.
Try it out. You will like it.
They advertise that you will not need any other lubricant than eezox. However i still put a couple of drops of miltec here and there. But I probably do not need to.

I've been using Eezox for about 18 months now since I got my first of 2 P7s.
It has become my main CLP. I carry IWB tucked 14 to 16 hours a day in the AZ heat while working and found Eezox to be better than any of the other products I've had at protecting until I found a light haze of rust developing on the grip frame of my P7. [H+K finishes are notoriously weak.] I started applying Blue Wonder "Armadillo" to the Pistols after cleaning and lubing with Eezox and WOW! I go about 2-3 mo. between exterior treatments and just an occasional wipe down with a treated cloth. No more rust!
Both products are a pain in the butt to apply properly, but well worth it to me. YMMV
Oh, and I love the smell after the solvent in the Eezox has evaporated.

Usin' CorrosionX makes me feel sanctified. No hoobie joobie application, just apply and wipe. Good for range and handlebar guns in the rain, not that the compound and surrounding areas get much. Sure do try to go outside when we do get them though. Speakin' of sanctified, dat Yarnell is aight too! :cheers2:

Corrosion X is da bomb
Hoppes Foaming Bore Cleaner is incredible good too.
Sweet's for more serious stuff in a hurry.
Been usin Militec for about a year for hi-pressure lube. Works real good, but is waaaay too damned expensive.

Every gun and squeaky hinge in my house gets a squirt of Militec when needed. Been using it for a couple a years and so far so good. Bout the only thing that don't get it is my .22 cuz I'm not going to waste cleaner and lube on a .22 unless it stops running right. I pretty well stick with Benchrest 9 for the light work, Sweets for the heavy stuff, all followed up with some Militec.

Been using it for 5 years now..
Took me a while to get use to its "aroma" but am very pleased with the product. I like it better than Militec-1

I just picked up can of this Eezox.
Is it supposed to be good for AR's as well? I normally keep my AR's lubed rather wet.

GOOD TO GO
Keep a rag sprayed with Eesox in a ziploc baggie with your range gear. Wipe firearms down for trip home *also run a bore snake down bore with a patch of Eesox for trip home. Makes cleaning at home a breeze

It is not quite Hoppes No.9 but it still smells good.Speaking of Hoppes #9 is this Eezox stuff as harmful as Hoppes is suppose to be breathing in ? I've heard some cleaning products are safe to use in a closed in area and some are not. Is that true ?
Have you guys read the MSDS sheet on Eezox? I believe the manufacturer recommends NOT to breathe the fumes. Correct?

Guess I won't be buying any of this stuff in the near future. My liver and kidneys have been abused enough in my lifetime.:43::yesnod:

Thanks, do you give the trigger assembly's a shot of Eezox for lube, along with the bore, and bolt carrier?

Absolutely. I picked some up after reading about one of you GP'ers using and liking it. I really like it now. Wish the fumes weren't toxic cause it smells pretty good :biggrinjester:

Hi War..
YES to all, I treat my trigger assembly with Eesox but I dont spray it. As the instructions say Eesox is to be applied a little at a time to much it can become sticky and will need to be removed and re-applied. I have yet to experience this.
The only time I use the spray is onto a rag then rag to firearm. I like to wipe my firearms down at the range/field after shooting when they are still warm.
At home I use the needle oiler to apply to the assembly, same for the carrier group. I disassemble add a few drops and rub it in follow up with a gentle wipe down allow to dry.
A seasoned bore with Eesox make additional cleanings a breeze. After every range / field session I run a bore snake with a patch of Eesox for the trip home.
If you ever feel the need to chemically strip your bore of copper etc. try Blue Wonders *Bore Cleaner IMHO the best. Then follow with a pacth of Eesox to re-season
After you use the product for a while you will "understand it" better forlack of better words. I've never fires my homeland defence tools to combat conditions/failure (burn the lube off) but under the stress's of organized "battle" match's or extended dog town sessions Eesox has never failed.
Just in case I do keep a can of BreakFree, a 50/50 mix of Kroil and shooters choice, and a tube militec-1 grease -> little dab on the rails.
I'm not to worried about the exposure fumes from using Eesox I believe its minimal at best when I use the product, my reload/cleaning area is well ventilated. I worry more about the fumes from case cleaning and sifting the media from the brass.
peace

Well its not like we are saturating a rag with it and putting it in a bread bag and huffin the stuff
As with anything related to chemical solvent use be smart when you use the stuff. My exposure is always well ventilated gloved and far between repeated usage.
Peace
