i was in the army for 3 awesome years. stationed at good
ole boring ft.sill okla. 83-86. as a cook of all things.
but you know the military, good days,bad days.

I was at Ft Sill for a couple months after I came home from Viet Nam in 71. I went from there to Ft Lewis, on my way back to Nam, when Nixon stepped up the troop withdrawal. Instead of back to Nam I got out of the Army six months early instead.

thanks for the welcome. had a couple cousins that went to vietnam, but
that was a little before my time. alot of guys from basic/ait went on to
germany. not me though i think it would have been cool. oh well, you
got to go some where. (ft silly for me)
