Powder Measure Tech Tip for new owners:
The plastic powder hopper may look as if it screws in to the metal hopper base, and thus can be unscrewed to do your degrease prep work. However, according to Hornady (just got off the phone with them) it's NOT screwed in - it's pressed on to the base, so you can't unscrew it.
Bob at Hornady said some people do just pull them off to clean, but doing this can loosen the tight fit between the base and the tube.
Instead, he recommends breaking the assembly down as instructed in the manual, and carefully pouring regular isopropyl alcohol though the top of the plastic hopper onto the metal funnel area (WITHOUT getting alcohol on the plastic tube... pour slow and careful). Alternately, a cottonball/rag/patch soaked with alcohol can be used coming up from the bottom and swabbed around if you have small fingers.
