For those of you who wish Hornady sold a powder baffle for the LnL AP powder measure, here’s some help from Unclenick over at ShootersForum.com:

Hornady claims that the LnL powder measure doesn't get any significant benefit from a powder baffle, but I'm thinking it couldn't hurt. :dunno:
I know - this isn't really specifically aimed at LnL users - but it definitely applies (haven't tried it yet, but I plan to). :)

bhawkeye,
i have a Hornady powder measure that i purchased back in the 70's. in 95 before i bought my Harrell's measure i wanted to see if i could get the Hornady measure to be as accurate as my Redding measure. so i polished the inside of the measure and purchased a RCBS powder baffle. the RCBS powder baffle is just a tad wider in circumference. it took me about twenty minutes with my dremel tool going slowly to get it to fit perfectly. now the Hornady measure throws just as accurately as my Redding with ball powder. i remember after doing this i e-mailed Hornady as to the improvement to their measure with these up-grades. they e-mailed me back saying that they would pass this information along to their research and development dept. don't know if they did or not but i haven't seen any of their measures with baffles in them.......HTH

I use the Uniquetek baffles in both my Dillon measures:

I can't think of anything bad to say about them. IMO, they tend to make powders that flow well anyway virtually perfect and difficult powders much better. They seem very effective at maintaining consistency as the measures near empty...YMMV. I can say, I have 2-RCBS measures and 2-Lee (Pro) AutoDisks that are very good with some powders & charges and not so good with others. Neither is anywhere near as forgiving and consistently accurate with a wide range of powders as the Dillons using the baffle inserts.
