That's what my dealer charges for a pound of Alliant 2400!:yikes:

Unreal.

"Yeah, costs went up."

That's OK. I'll buy it with my dealer discount for $14.59.

Costs went up. Sounds like a f-ing oil company.

That's why I buy in bulk from PowderValley. Even w/ HM & shipping, I save $6-$7/#.

I like it, rather large selection of firearms. There prices are in line with what I hear of other places, no bargains though for sure.
Good selection of powders, and primers.
Large archery dept, with a nice selection of knives, again though, they give nothing away. Lots of camo clothes, fishing gear.

Freakshow Powder Inc in the works?
No, not a separate company. My restructuring process is already a headache. Essentially the corporation will be the firearm manufacturing name, with my bullet line and my ammo line being TMs or brand names of the corporation. Everything will be under the corporation.

I can still manufacture the ammunition under the 07 FFL I'm applying for, so if I wanted to I can turn in the 06 FFL I have when my 07 FFL gets approved. Then I can work towards my SOT2. Probably sell a few guns for that.

I could also continue the bullet manufacturing under the SP of Freakshow Bullets and just ride out the term for the 06 FFL, then upon expiration, just market it under my corporation.

If I change entity status I have to reapply for the entire FFL, so new fee, prints, mugs, etc. I can still conduct business under the current (older) FFL until the new one is issued. Then I have to turn the old FFL into the ATF for destruction

Lots of options, which can be a good thing.

+1 for Powder Valley. I live close enough that I drive there and pick up.

No HM or shipping. Same with Grafs and Midway. Nice to live right in the center. Hodgdons is here close by as well, but they have no storefront.
