Does this guy know something we don't. All of the scrap dealers by me are buying WW's for 15 cents a pound. There is one scrap dealer in Ohio that just raised his price and is buying them for 40 cents a pound. Doesn't sound good to me.

As a scrap dealer, I doubt he is playing the market by stocking up on lead in the anticipation of future increases. He probably has a big buyer lined up and is willing to pay top price for the WWs to fill the order quickly but with a lower profit per ton.

I'm finally starting to see the reward. There is a tire shop that is giving them to me for free but there are also a couple of others getting them to make sinkers. I have been doing OK there though. I just made a deal at a very big tire dealer for $20 a full bucket, I am the only one he will sell to. He didn't have a full bucket so he sold me one that was about 3/4 for $10. I also have a couple of other deals on the table and am waiting to hear back. I have a bucket and a half and am expecting a few more to roll in real soon.
