550B Arrived

and I need to give a big "THANK YOU"....to Adam at Freakshowbullets.com for getting my Dillon 550B to me so quickly....and doing a fantastic job of keeping me informed of the progress of the order....he said it would be here today and it was...great service...

If he's got what I need in the future...he gets my order...

Did you get the standard CW rotating 550 or the new CCW rotation unit?

didn't know there would be a test today.....not sure yet, still setting it up...looks like the instructions do make more sense if I stand on my head when I look at the press...

Read several times, there is also some good videos on www.youtube.com (http://www.youtube.com) , in particular put out by a guy named porterhouseIV, just do a search for dillon 550 and a plethora of them will come up. I would link you right to them but I'm not sure how to do that. I just figured out how to do a avatar the other day....When I ordered mine I got the video to go with it.

Be sure and don't install the defractionalizer prematurely, during setup!

3.when video comes up just highlight the web info (starts with http) right click and select cut or copy.
4. then go to gp,go to reply and right click
5. select paste and there you have it

fortunately the defactonalizer had been temporarily imobilized by the left/right hand theads of the boggle bolt and fingle nut....

A slight adjustment of the loftus valve was necessary but everything seems to be working fine now..

Cannot believe the deference between the 550 and the SDB which is the only Dillon I've had....never going back....

BTW, all the washers were left hand so I did have to change those...

My new Dillon 550 showed up yesterday from Freakshow as promised...ANOTHER BIG THANK YOU FREAKSHOW. Spent part of the dayjust admiring the quality in the press. I put it next to the Lee 1000 :mad2: I had problems with just so I could continue to appreciate a GOOD reloader at last.
