Went shooting today and took the 22's. This is what I found when I opened one of gatorade bottles.

Some of the less cruddy ones, the ones in the pic were the worst ones. No problems. Tossed the cruddy ones.
Are you one of the crb guys who probably thinks I should have brought them home and tried the tumbler:yikes:?Patrick

I realize I'd be throwing out at least 25 cents of ammo, but i'd only shoot those with a sling shot.

Coulda at least pulled the bullets and threw the brass in with the AMERC. Are you gonna show us what happens when you toss a brick into a wet milk jug next? Koski's got a lot of those.

This is what happens when you don't buy your Gatorade bottles from me....a reputable dealer......try to save a few bucks and what do you wind up with? Inferior products that will ruin your ammo.

Black sharpie. I don't own a blue sharpie. It would violate the CRB code to buy one. Maybe I could "borrow" one from a retail establishment.

There was a guy that talked about Sportsmans Warehouse and how every time he went there they always messed something up....and he wouldn't get charged for something. Came there to brag about it and then everyone started chastising him about it , calling him a thief.

I guess what concerns me is not the damaged ammo so much--as it is this--if Gatorade will do that to cartridge brass and lead alloy, I can only imagine what it does to one's internal organs.
Steel Talon
07-19-2008, 12:01 PM
*Stains your organs the color of drink, just pour some on the floor and let it sit a few minutes before wiping it up colr tint is left behind.
*Adds preservatives to your Organs
*The sugars slams your pancrease insulin output. and tweaks you something fierce (give it to a ADHD kid and watch the show)
*Sodium content slams base cells..Kidneys etc.
Consider it flavored sweat "Puts back what your body puts out" (original slogan)
People drink it like they do soda pop..

So, if I read this right, you're better off drinking water?
mbradst
07-19-2008, 12:36 PM
The sugars and salts in Gatorade are at a very high concentration. If you are using it as a fluid and electrolyte replacement, you should dilute it between 2:1 water/gatorade and 4:1 water/gatorade. Your money will go farther and your blood sugar/electrolyte levels will not spike as it would with the full strength stuff. Some of the company's that make sport's drinks, including gatorade have the diluted versions available for the same price as the full strength, sometimes they even cost more. To keep your CRB card intact, just buy some generic koolaid and sprinkle some table salt(sodium) and some salt substitute(pottassium) into it, instant sports drink.

YEP..Good thang.. after a good workout you can do yourself a solid by consuming a smoothie of plain yogurt berries almonds and a protien powder or peanut butter. Or consume a bananna and a few almonds right after you finish working out.
Also, adding a K vitamin (potassium) and magnesium vitamin to your morning dailys gives benefiets.

A couple beers, glasses of wine, or a few ounces of liquor are said to be good for the heart and circulatory system. Aspirin too.

Yeah, and the brewers and distillers rubber stamp those studies too. At any rate, I ain't giving up bourbon or firearms, I've had to give up all my other vices, I must reserve a couple.

Alcohol thins the blood, improving bloodflow. Red wines contain high levels of anti-oxidants that help lower bad cholesterol (LDL), and raise good cholesterol (HDL).

if you do not brush your teeth, it will eat them up, as it is acidic. It will also stain them without proper care.

I can tell you this. If I'm out in the heat working hard and I only drink water, I can plan on a serious leg cramp. If I drink Gatorade, or similar, less or even no cramps. I don't get those little leg cramps where you have to jump out of bed and push on your toes, I get leg cramps so bad that several times I have almost called 911. I will have a limp for several days after one of my monster cramps, and sometimes bruising. For real. In the summer we keep several containers of the powdered Gatorade cocentrate on hand at all times.

I hadn't been to a dentist is over 14 months, just went a couple weeks ago. He was very surprised at how good things looked, not one problem. In all fairness though, I don't drink much wine, brush twice daily, floss, and use one of them fancy rinses.

If you eat a couple bananas a week, you will get the same benefits. Potassium in the bananas is needed for the functioning of muscles. You get plenty of sodium from other sources.

Hell ya it hurts enough to piss the bed! The last one I had was a few weeks ago after working all day up in the attic puting in a whole house fan. Lasted about 45 minutes and hurt so bad I started to throw up. My leg was so hard you couldn't have driven a needle in it with a hammer. Leg cramps suck!

I also suffer from epic leg night cramps as you. Have so all my life, mine target the calf and thigh deep muscle not so much arch and toes. I'll even get severe cramps in my chin/jaw muscles and fingers. Your sleeping all nice and comfy then BAM your dancing as if your in a Mosh Pit,or your doing some kind of fertility dance for your Mrs.... Fatigue is a component forme also
Mbradst is dead on about eating a bannana (ie. Potassium). Potassium is the #1 electrolyte that muscles require a fine balance of. In the extremes Too little you die ,too much you die(lethal injection componenet.) Anytime the balance goes off kilter your body reacts with various early warning systems . Cramps is one of these signs (of course cramps are also triggerd by other things.)
A home remedy that works for alot of night cramp sufferers is putting a bar of soap under the sheets at the foot of the bed.. quien sabe???

If bananas do you no good, you probably are not eating enough of them. Here is a list of Potassium rich foods, notice bananas are on the bottom of the list: http://www.weightlossforall.com/potassium-rich-food.htm

You should be careful Dihydrogen Monoxide it will kill you.
I understand that it is the primary material in poluted rivers.
It is one of the chemicals that they use in the gas chamber.
The really scary part is that if do not get some of it you will die. But if you get to much you can die too.
I also just want to let you know that not only is it found in the acid used in swimming pools it can also be found in baby food.
Just an interesting point of trivia.
8 out of 10 crime scenes in seattle this last winter trace amounts could be found in and around the crime scene.
