I guess I'll start...

Live in Johnstown, work in Loveland and shoot at the Front Range Gun Club - off Denver Ave., Loveland - a recently opened private members club / range with 15 lanes - brand spanking new facility and very nice. Hours are helpful to me, they're open to 8PM most nights and their dark day is Monday - ie, they are open Tuesday through Sunday.

Before that I used to shoot at the indoor range at Rocky Mountain Shooter's Supply on Mulberry in Ft. Collins - it was just a tad too far to drive, especially when a club opened up that's less than a mile from work, and practically on my way home/to the office. RMSS's range is 8 lanes I recall - hours weren't as good for me as they close at 5PM and aren't open Sundays.

Feedback from other Northern Coloradoans on local shooting venues (clubs/ranges/open spaces that are shooter friendly) welcomed! With my brother coming to visit this year from England I want to be able to show him some nice shooting options...

Hey,
Though I'm not in Northern Colorado, I live in Burlington and work in several towns from there to Deer Trail all on I-70. I do most of my shooting at the Kit Carson County Sportsman's club in Burlington. It is an outdoor range, but has great areas for trap, rifle, and handgun shooting.

I've been shooting at Green Mountain Family Shooting Center http://www.gmfsc.org . It's just west of Wadsworth on Jewell.

The range is all-indoor with 5 -100yard rifle lanes and 12-45yard pistol lanes.

I took my Hunter safety course here 30 years ago when it was called Foothills shooting center.

Welcome. I make it out to your neck of the woods a few times a year. I've got close family that lives in Ken Caryl Ranch.

Cool. I live just south of the Ranch.

BTW: I'm taking my CCW class at GMFSC this Saturday.

I'm a new shooter, just took my CCW class last month from Roger Miller in Arvada. I've used The Firing Line indoor range (just off 225) a couple of times. I plan on checking out Cherry Creek Shooting Center next week. D

Finally made it over to the Cherry Creek Shooting Center. $15 for as long as you like. About ten covered pistol stations to shoot at about twenty-five feet. Also has rifle and shotgun facilities. Also has guns for rent. $20 for an XD 45 with thirteen rounds of ammp. Must use their ammo on the rental guns. Other pistols and rifles at different prices. $7 for a day pass to the park. D
