Does anyone here have experience with the Wilson Combat 10rd mags. If you do are they any good or just junk?

Are they flush-fit?

IMHO, they are the best out there. I've had Chip McCormick's in my Kimber and they had issues, and I've had Mec-Gar and they were crap. I bought the Wilsons and haven't had any problems. They feed smooth as silk and are high quality. Definitely invest in some.

7 an 8 rounders are great in 45 ACP

10 rounders (aren't flush) seem to have issues until ya polish da inside a da body a lil bit an run a crocus cloth over da spring.

Never found a burr, but da surfaces seem ta drag a lil bit outta da package.

After I polish em a lil bit, I give da spring a wipe wit some CorrosionX on a patch - good ta go

Wit CMC mags, they all suck but da Power Mags, an they ain't anythang ta write home about.

MecGar is shiite all da way around, as is ProMag an a lotta others.

If ya get some Wilsons, make sure they is recent stock (poly follower).

Mec-Gar makes many OEM mags including SIG and CZ factory mags. They make an excellent mag, but every manufacturer has an exception to the rule. I don't own a 1911, so I wouldn't know.

They do.

But they make OEM mags to da OEM specs, not jus turnin out aftermarkets for cheap.

Try a MecGar mag in anythang they don't OEM for, you a see what I mean.

They 1911 mags is crap from da word go

Gotcha. The only guns I own use Mec-Gar as the OEM (I still can't shoot a 1911 worth a damn), I'll remember that for future reference. Thanks, 'Slick.

I like the Wilson 8 rounders in my Para LTC. They function just as well as the factory mags. I have not tried the 10 rounders.
