Use .449" bullets.

That simple eh? I was thinking that but didn't know for sure. I got three .452" TCs dummys to chamber and feed fine. Barrel checked. Who knows?

I wouldnt worry about it. Just shoot it. Its only .004 difference on the bullet, or .002 to the side.

He's right. The BNH even on hard cast isnt' so hard that the lead won't flow in the grooves to accomodate such a small difference.

Ditto A Neat's post. I have shot old style .455" 45 Colt bullets in a 45 acp with no probs.

I was trying to find a funny picture on google image search with the word "tight" and you can use your imagination as to what came up. :supergrin:

If the bore's off that much, you might want to get the chamber checked too. Who made this barrel?
