Hornady LNL AP: Smaller powder measure for pistol worthwhile?

Hornady has a smaller powder measure drum available that's meant for pistol cases. Is this necessary or worth while for a 40.s&w? How much more accurate would it be?

The pistol micrometer is absolutely worth it. Makes adjusting a smaller charge much easier. Also, it is calibrated so you can write down where it was adjusted for a given powder charge and reference it in the future.

I used the rifle micrometer for pistol and rifle, works fine.
